When choosing a detox program, you will most likely find the most commonly used detoxification process is oral therapy. Our IV Therapy method is safer, more effective, and an overall comfortable experience for the patient. By using IV based therapy we have revolutionized the detox process.

When deciding to stop, the first step towards a healthy lifestyle is a detox to help remove the substances from the body. Physical dependency is one of the hardest thing to overcome when when a substance user who is addicted to drugs or alcohol decides to stop.

If a substance user suddenly stops, their body will start going through a withdrawal period. In addition to being dangerous, withdrawal can be extremely uncomfortable and painful. The good news is, it doesn't have to be

At Scottsdale Detox, we use IV Therapy to help patients through the detoxification process. Detoxification is the medical process that systematically and safely withdraws the addict from addictive drugs and alcohol, under the care of a physician and supervised care.

WHAT IS IV THERAPY?

Intravenous (IV) nutrient therapy is a method of feeding vitamins, minerals, and amino acids, directly into the bloodstream. This process can effectively correct intracellular nutrient deficiencies since oral intake of such high doses is simply not possible due to absorption limitations from the digestive process. Patients can get up to 10 times the nutrients in one treatment as they could get orally.

Medical supervision throughout the course of our IV therapy program is highly recommended, especially for those trying to detox from alcohol, benzodiazepines, opiates, or methadone. If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact us.

HOW OUR IVS HELP DETOX PATIENTS

Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C)

Water-soluble nutrient necessary for the growth, development and repair of all body tissues.

B complex

B vitamins have a direct impact on your energy levels, brain function, and cell metabolism.

Calcium Gluconate

Treats conditions arising from calcium deficiencies - most patients in detox have Calcium and Magnesium deficiencies

Cyanocobalamin (B12)

Man-made form of vitamin B12 used to prevent and treat low blood levels of this vitamin. It is important to maintain the health of your metabolism, blood cells, and nerves.

Dexpanthenol

Dexpanthenol is an alcoholic analogue of D-pantothenic acid and cholinergic agent. Dexpanthenol acts as a precursor of coenzyme A necessary for acetylation reactions and is involved in the synthesis of acetylcholine. Acetylcholine functions as a neurotransmitter and as a neuromodulator. The brain contains a number of cholinergic areas, each with distinct functions; such as playing an important role in arousal, attention, memory and motivation.

Folic Acid

Helps the body produce and maintain new cells.

Magnesium Sulfate

Naturally occurring mineral used to control low blood levels of magnesium and added benefit of decreasing inflammation and drawing out impurities from the body.

Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6)

Maintains the health of nerves, skin, and red blood cells.

Zinc

Helps the immune system fight off invading bacteria and viruses. Helps heal wounds.
